The BEST (and healthiest!) homemade hamburger helper recipe around!
1lb Bootheel 7 Ranch ground beef
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder, to taste
Salt and Pepper, to taste
2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Heat large skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground beef, onion, parsley, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne powder, salt, and pepper together.
Stir in milk, beef broth, elbow pasta, and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook 10 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring ocassionally.
Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and enjoy!
